Colorado Hula - Hawaiian Hula and Polynesian Dances


Halau Na ‘Olapa Mamao E Malama Hula is a hula halau (school) which perpetuates traditional Hawaiian culture, dances and chants, as well as Tahitian and other Polynesian dances.  The halau was established in Boulder in 2008.  We emphasize friendship and support among our members.  Everybody is welcome.  E komo mai! 
We are proud to have halau members of the following ethnic origins:
Hawaiian, American-Indian (Cherokee, Lakota, Inuit, Pueblo, Pauquunaukit Wampanoag, Chibcha), Chinese, Colombian, Costa Rican,Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, French-Canadian, Filipino, Finish, German, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Jewish, Mexican, Norwegian, Okinawan, Pennsylvania Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Scottish, Spanish, Swedish, Taiwanese and Welsh!
Halau Na ‘Olapa Mamao E Malama Hula offers hula and Polynesian dance lessons as well as shows throughout Colorado, including Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs and other locations.  We also offer shows, workshops and classes in Europe (esp. Germany, Netherlands, etc.).
